Movements: the history of everything
Every price and stock change, with its before, its after and where it came from.
Movements answers the question that comes sooner or later: “why does this product cost this?”. Every price and stock change is kept with its before, its after, its origin and, if someone on the team made it, their name.
Read the history
At the top there is one tab per catalog: “Shared catalog” and one for each independent channel. In the shared one you pick “All channels” or a single one. The table runs from the newest backwards, by day (“Today”, “Yesterday”). Each row has date, product, SKU, channel, price, sale price, stock, “Other” (the field that changed when it isn't price, sale price or stock), status and origin. A channel's row says what Koalab wrote to that channel, with its rules already applied (markup, rounding): it may not be your catalog's price. Under “Sync”, “View” opens the delivery that produced it.
Mock-up: the split at the top, the origin legend and the table grouped by day The four origins
“Origin” groups each change into four: “You” (someone on the team did it from Koalab), “Automatic” (it ran on its own: a source on its schedule or a sale carried to your other channels), “From the channel” (sales, returns and what the channel or the plugin reports) and “Quick action”. If someone else on the team did it, instead of “You” you see their name, also when exporting.
Look at the split at the top
Two cards split the range: “What you triggered” and “What ran on its own”, each with its count. “See only this” narrows the table to that half and “See both” brings it back. It answers what almost everyone comes to look at: whether something moved without you asking.
Filter and search
By product — you add them up and they stay as tags —, by range (Today, last 7, 15 or 30 days, or a custom one), by origin and by status.
Export
Excel on every plan; CSV and PDF from Starter. It downloads the whole range you picked, with the active tab's filters and order, not just the page: up to 20,000 rows, and it tells you if there are more.
Details worth knowing
- Koalab keeps 90 days of history; your plan decides how many of those days you see, and the available range is shown on screen.
- A row that came from a batch has a menu with “See what it touched”, which opens its detail, and “Revert this batch”, if your role can edit. The confirmation says how many rows changed afterwards. Stock only undoes what the batch moved: later sales are kept.
- On WooCommerce, sales and price and stock changes made in the store show up here as “From the channel” within a few minutes, through WooCommerce's own notifications. A notice at the top offers you the store plugin, which is optional: with it they arrive in seconds, with their cause, and SKU, name, status and weight are recorded too.
