Reports and data quality

What moved, what's gone stale and what your catalog is missing.

Two screens to look from afar: Reports says what happened (activity, origins, idle products, the ones that move the most) and how your margin is doing; Data quality says what your catalog is missing so it does not fail on the channels.

  1. The verdict and the detail

Reports opens with the verdict: «All up to date», or the list of things to look at with their link. Below, in «The detail»: one card per channel and four figures. «Runs»: how many times a group of changes was applied (a list, a source, a quick action, an approval). «Products updated». «Finished fine»: the percentage of runs no channel rejected. «Untouched in N days»: products nothing changed in that time. And four reports: «Products updated per day», «Where the changes came from», «The ones that move the most» and «Margin by category», from worst to best margin according to the cost you entered.

  2. Change the range

7, 30 or 90 days, with a single selector for the verdict, the figures, the activity, the origins and the ones that move the most. «Margin by category» does not follow it: it is a snapshot of today's catalog. The tabs at the top pick the catalog: «Shared catalog» and each independent channel.

  3. The quality score

Data quality grades the «Catalog status» out of 100, one channel at a time, against what gets in the way of publishing: missing SKU, duplicate SKU, empty or zero price, negative price, negative stock, sale above or equal to the price, missing name, no category and missing cost (only if you use costs). On a Mercado Libre channel it also warns about missing required attributes, without counting them in the grade. The detail is in «Data quality: the catalog checkup».

  4. The problems, by code

They come in three bands and in this order: «Blocks publishing», «Missing data» and «Can be improved». In the first two each problem opens with its products and can be exported to Excel; «Can be improved» are cards with their count.

  5. Fix and review again

Click a product's row to open it. On «Sale ≥ regular price» and «Negative stock», «Fix in review» takes you to «Review changes»: nothing reaches the channels until you click «Apply or schedule N». «Export everything to Excel» downloads a sheet you can fix and upload again in «Upload a list». «Run again» rereads the channel once every 6 hours, or after 15 minutes if you published, linked or corrected that channel's products in Koalab.

  6. Different across channels

Below the score, «Different across channels» compares each channel of the shared catalog with Koalab, with its price rules, and lists only what differs: product, SKU, field, Koalab's value and each channel with its own and its likely cause. What is not published does not count.

Details worth knowing

  • The quality notice goes out when a channel's grade drops below 80 or gets worse. By default it arrives in the weekly digest on Mondays at 7:00, your organization's time; in «Your profile» → «Notifications», «Data quality summary» row, you can change the frequency or turn it off.
  • Quality is measured per channel: each one has its own read.
  • The check analyzes the channel's last read: if there is none yet, it offers «Run the review», and if your catalog is empty, «Import my catalog».
