Quick actions

Bulk changes in one click: sale prices, stock, price from cost and retries.

Quick actions do in one click what would take hours by hand: clear sale prices, zero the stock, recalculate prices from cost or retry what your channels rejected. They change your channels right away. First you choose what they act on: until then, all four are dimmed with “Choose a target above first.”.

  1. Open “Quick actions”

On the home screen (Dashboard → “Home”), click “Quick actions”. With the viewer role the button doesn't show.

  2. Choose the target

“Which catalog” has three groups. “Catalog”: the shared one, for example “Shared catalog · 3 channels”; the change reaches all of them. “Independent catalogs”: it reaches only that channel. “One particular channel” is for emergencies: it writes straight to that channel, without touching your catalog, and leaves it paused. There, the leading channel carries “leads” and a paused one, “paused”. “Emergency on a channel: pause and reactivate” explains it. When you choose, a sentence underneath gives the exact scope.

  3. Clear sale prices

Removes the sale price from the chosen catalog; the regular price isn't touched. Where the sale price isn't a product field, an amber note says what happens: on Shopify, Koalab puts the regular price back and clears the compare-at price. On Mercado Libre the sale is a campaign in your account: the products stay in it until you take them out there. On a single Mercado Libre channel it is disabled; use “Zero the inventory”.

  4. Zero the inventory

Sets the stock of the chosen catalog to zero, to cut sales for a while: holidays, a warehouse problem, a pricing mistake. Whatever doesn't track stock stays as it is. Where zero pauses the listing (Mercado Libre, for example), an amber note warns you. The quantity isn't lost: revert the action in “Revert a batch” or from Movements, and the previous stock comes back wherever it is still at zero.

  5. Recalculate from cost

Sets the price to the cost plus your “Markup on cost (%)”, with your rounding; it is set in Organization → “Rules” → “Price from cost”. The sale price comes from its own markup; if it has none and would end up equal to or above the new price, it is removed. It only touches products with a cost loaded, and the cost is already in your currency: no exchange rate applies. Professional and up.

  6. Retry what failed

Sends again what the target's channels rejected: what is already for sale gets the catalog's values again, and what the channel didn't let you create is published again. The button says how many there are and on which channels; if there are none, it shows “No channel has rejected anything.”. If something fails again, the window gives the reason and takes you to “See the products rejected in …”; a listing rejected again tells you in the bell.

Details worth knowing

  • Every action asks you to type CONFIRM before it runs. Those seconds are the difference between doing it and doing it by accident.
  • Progress is real and staged — “Finding what to change”, “Applying to your catalog”, “Sending to your channels” — and when it reaches the channels it tells you which one it's on: “Now: Mercado Libre”.
  • “Clear sale prices”, “Zero the inventory” and “Recalculate from cost” on a catalog stay as a batch in “Revert a batch” and can be undone. “Retry what failed” leaves no batch. Neither does what you launch on one particular channel: you undo it by reactivating the channel with “Reactivate and resync”.
